SO FAR:
We have conducted many community events, mission trips, trainings, and conferences in the USA and abroad since 2004. We have provided relief during various crises that affect society on the local, international and personal levels (COVID-19, Ebola, Recession, War). We continue to branch out toward effectiveness and excellence.

LaTonya Turner McRae
LaTonya McRae is the Founder of Tree of Life Ministries, Inc. She is an ordained elder who serves as a pastor, teacher, missionary and counselor, with her husband Elder Stephen McRae, at Faith Tabernacle in Freehold, New Jersey. She is the visionary of many successful outreach projects and conferences, and she oversees both local and foreign ministry operations. "Dr. LaTonya" is an active missionary in Liberia, West Africa (affectionately known as “Sis. Decontee”) where Tree of Life has built a mission house, established programs, and installed clean water wells among other things. There is a Mission House in Africa and in New Jersey - both meet the needs of people with food, clothing, and spiritual nourishment, although Africa is the headquarters, meeting place, and housing for visiting missionaries.
LaTonya McRae earned a doctorate degree in Theology at United Christian College, New York, in May of 2005. She is a member of the National Christian Counseling Association and a certified pastoral member of The Sarasota Academy of Christian Counselors. She served on the Executive Board of Court Street School in Freehold New Jersey and continues to be active in the community. While Dr. McRae has many years' experience in counseling, crisis, and ministry, she continues to study to be equipped for the challenges of the present day and age.
Elder Stephen McRae
Elder Stephen McRae is a founding constituent of Tree of Life Ministries and is the senior pastor at Faith Tabernacle in Freehold, New Jersey. He served in ministry for decades prior to pastoral leadership, having been a Deacon, Trustee, Musician and BCS Superintendent, and more, over the years. He was born and raised in Freehold and kept under close tutelage by his parents, the late Elder James McRae (previous pastor), First Lady Yvonne McRae, and his grandparents, the late Deacon Arthur Goode and Rev. Sally Ann Goode who were the founders of Faith Tabernacle. He is affectionately referred to as "Pastor Steve" by the congregation and friends. Pastor Steve is an advocate for mission efforts both locally and overseas. He studied at Monmouth Bible Institute in Farmingdale, New Jersey and United Christian College, Roselle, New Jersey Extension. Pastor Steve's ministry efforts continue to bless the congregation and community with focused events to encourage, equip, nourish, and edify them.
Rev. Sharon R. Dorsey
Rev. Sharon Rene’ Dorsey serves on the executive board of Tree of Life as Assistant Director. She is one of ten children born to the late Deacon William Leonard Sr. and Elder Vivian Elizabeth Dorsey. Rev. Dorsey actively serves on the ministerial staff at Faith Tabernacle in Freehold, New Jersey. Rev. Dorsey is the church's Administrative Acolyte and Worship Leader. She is a devoted and hard working member of the body of Christ. Rev. Dorsey has a Masters in Religious Education, is active in a great variety of ministry affairs, and coordinates PHD Retreats with Dr. McRae. She is a local missionary in her own right being a significant help to those in need and resourceful to the church's efforts in caring for the flock. Rev. Dorsey is a mother of two and a recently retired legal professional from Saint Barnabas Health Care System in their Corporate Legal Affairs Department. She uses her skills and gifts to serve the body of Christ and is continually making effort to improve.
Alfred L. M. Gezaye
Bro. Alfred Gezaye is the National Director of Tree of Life - Liberia. He is a graduate of the University of Liberia. He serves in various leadership capacities at the Church of the Believers throughout Liberia and is the Managing Editor of the Christian News in Liberia among many other things. Alfred is a extraordinary Project Manager who is currently overseeing all activity in the region which include, but are not limited to, the headquarters (now the Mission House), Ministry Events, Outreach, Logistics, Distribution, Communications, Staffing and Volunteers. Alfred Gezaye is the administrator of Church of the Believers on Liberia which has many churches across the country under the auspices of Rev. Dr. R. Zarwulugbo Liberty. Alfred serves in many capacities and is an integral part of Tree of Life. His lovely wife, Patricia has graciously and successfully fulfilled the requests for PHD Women's Retreat in Liberia for three years and is an associate pastor at Conqueror Christian Center in Monrovia.
